PROJECT ATHLETES
PROJECT ATHLETES offers after-school athletic training and mentorship programs at schools and community-based centers. These programs attract hundreds of students every semester.
PROJECT ATHLETES is valuable part of after-school and community-based programing. It provides opportunities for off-season training but also, for physical activity and a "team" to be a part of regardless of athletic ability or whether they received a spot on their school's sports team.
Programming reaches three key groups:
Organized sports have proven to provide a positive outlet for teens. They build friendships, find mentors through coaches, maintain academic achievement and provide activities that keep youth out of trouble. The vision of PROJECT ATHLETES is to keep youth engaged with the benefits of organized sports on the off-season and throughout the entire year.
PROJECT ATHLETES fosters life's positive outlooks in ways that help guide youth on their life journey. Focused on physical conditioning, this structured mentoring program recognizes and promotes academic standing, goal setting and balance in their lives.
PROJECT ATHLETES also offers an eight-week speed school every summer, focused on speed, agility, flexibility, and conditioning. Project Athletes has exceeded expectations in terms of both the impact it has on its athletes and the number of athletes it serves. It is a great success.
